DomainName
Internet domains are alias identifiers for a physical address of a web space on the global Internet, i.e. they have both a name and an address function. Internet domains often contain a protected trademark or company identification mark which, however, are only protected as a trademark for certain goods and services and as a company identification mark only for certain sectors or business fields.
If you fail to reserve your trademarks and company names as internet domains in good time, the relevant internet domains are often blocked by third parties. A similar situation arises when third parties use a trade mark not belonging to them as an identifier in social media. In these cases, it is always necessary to check whether a trademark infringement or other legal infringement has occurred.
In cases based on trademark law relating to .eu domains, for example if a domain grabber has blocked your .eu domain, we can represent you before the competent Czech ArbitrationCourt at the EconomicChamber of the Czech Republic and the Agrarian Chamber of the Czech Republic (SOUD).
