When an undertaking is established, it is frequently assumed that an inquiry with the competent Chamber of Commerce and Industry is sufficient to avoid possible collisions of the intended own company name with older rights of others. It is, however, not taken into account that companies may own older rights relating to names, companies or trade marks, which are outside the area of responsibility of the inquired Chamber of Commerce and
Industry.
As a consequence, the own company has to be renamed shortly after the establishment thereof , which causes additional costs and renders previous investments in the setting up of the own company name worthless. We, therefore, perform extensive searches in the most different relevant data bases so as to minimize the aforementioned risks encountered when an undertaking is set up. |
